Seven

Stella turned six years old today.

Creed was worried because he hadn't purchased a gift for her with his own money. Instead, he made her a paper airplane and conceived and executed a treasure hunt for her to find it. All the clues began with encouraging phrases like "Good job!" "You're doing great!" and "You're almost there!," written in his sloppy, lovable handwriting.

When we sang to her tonight, Jack said "Wow. Stella, you're lucky. You get two cakes. Guess how many cakes I got. Zero."

We were in D.C. on his birthday. He got to plan the agenda for the entire day. He's right, though. He didn't get a cake.

You can't win 'em all.

Jack is my favorite.

Along with Creed, Stella, and George, of course.

Oh, and I just notice George's face in the D.C. pic.

Classic.

No way. Stella is six. Six?

Sweet Creed. What a sweet and thoughtful big brother. She must have loved the treasure hunt. Happy Birthday Stella! And Happy Birthday Jack.

I'm loving all the posts this month. Do we get thirty?
